June favourites... a classic post. I love a good old favourites blog post as it's nice to see what products people have been using and loving. A month is a nice amount of time to decide your opinions on a product so in this post I've included a mix of beauty, fashion and lifestyle.
We've had lovely weather in the UK last month. I'm saying this as it's dark, gloomy and rainy at the moment but previously it has been amazing. You wouldn't think so from the look of these favourites... boots...candles but I promise it was!
Lets start with the newest item from the lot, my Shein boots. I was introduced to these fashion staples by a friend who has been updating her wardrobe to suit her style more. She had come across these on a haul and she had managed to convince herself and clearly me as well that we needed a pair. They were around £32 and for some chunky boots that is a great price! They black ans simple and totally out of my comfort zone but i love them! I do have bigger calves so at first i did feel uncomfortable as i felt they didn't look right on my body but i found that if i didn't tie the laces up to the top and left them a bit loose they looked much better and made my outfits 10 times better than my usual trainers. They are much better quality than i imagined however the blisters are real! Breaking these boots in will be a painful time but definitely worth it.
Now moving on to lifestyle I have some candles! I love a good candle and these are for sure some amazing smelling ones! I got gifted these last year for Christmas and i actually got two sets so i guess mocktail candles were popular back then? Anyway they smell amazing and fill the room up with the best scents. My favourite smell in particular is this Strawberry Fizz scent as I find its the most potent of them all and is lovely and sweet.
Moving on to the main section of this post is the beauty favourites. I've got 1 makeup product, 2 body and skincare products and finally one perfume.
I think i may have mentioned this makeup product in a previous post but this month i have been obsessed with winged liner again so it is only fair that i include the Eyeko liquid felt tip liner. I never used to be able to use felt tip liners but this one changed everything and now i find it so much easier to use!
For skincare i have been loving this Mitchell and Peach Radiance Oil especially during lockdown as i don't mind me looking all oily because i have nowhere to be.
I have really dry hands and this Bodyshop Satsuma handcream is the best! It not only feels great but smells it too.
Last but not least is this Pink perfume from Next. I got a giftset in this scent years and years ago and i randomly just really wanted this scent back so i had to go purchase myself the perfume but i wish they still had this in a body spray.
I hope you are all doing well in these crazy times.
If you have any posts you would like to see from me please let me know!
Thanks for reading!

I've Left these posts a little late but oh well. I've decided to create a series of blog posts dedicated to my favourite things from 2019! I'm planning on creating 3 posts in total : Skincare, Makeup and Lifestyle. As you can see by the title this is indeed my favourite skincare products from 2019!
I have managed to condense this post down to only 5 products! So these are the best of the best. These are all products that i have used many times throughout 2019 and the products that have literally saved my skin! So if you want to find some amazing skincare products keep reading!
I assume you would have heard about this product before as everybody uses it but just in case you haven't, please do! This is the best affordable micellar water ever! It works like a dream and is easy to use. It's gentle on my skin and you can basically find it sold everywhere! So what's your excuse not to try it? My face feels super cleansed and refreshed after using this product.
This product saved my skin! For some random reason last year I developed dry skin around the corners of my mouth and more recently under my eyes. I have no clue why this happened but it did. I tried lots of things to try and get rid of it and nothing worked, until i found this cream. I got a big bottle and I apply it to the affected areas morning and night and it honestly worked a dream! This was by far the best purchase of 2019.
The main reason i am including this product is because how tasty it is! Do i recommend eating this no? But do i occasionally eat a tiny bit? Yes. Its a lovely consistency, works how you would expect and smells and tastes unreal. I don't use this every day but i do use it when needed as not only did i get dry skin it also gave me dry lips so this works nicely to help that situation. Plus who doesn't love Lush?
Keeping on the topic of lips. I got sent this product in a Tryit Box and i got some good use out of it. This is the most soothing lip product I've tried and adds so much moisture to my dry lips!
Last but not least is this face mask. I had heard great things about it and therefore had to try it. This is 'lush' (see what i did there?). It really helped clear my skin and leave it feeling renewed. I use this on my proper pamper days. It doesn't irritate my sensitive skin and is a pleasure to use!
That is all for my 2019 skincare faves!
I hope you found some new products to add to your collection.
What was your favourite skincare product from 2019?

Are You ready for another empties post?
I hope that was a yes because it's a bigun'. I dedicated the cutest little sweetie tub to store all my empties in as i didn't want to bin it. It is now filled up so i think that is a good indicator that this post is long over due. I'm trying to be really productive lately so as i am writing this it is 7:47am on a Wednesday morning and i am waiting for the bus. We love a productive sister.
Lets just get onto the products shall we?
Skincare
Most of the products that I've recently used up are mainly skincare. This is because i try to do a proper skincare routine every morning and night. I say try because lets be honest, most of the time i'm too lazy and there's a pack of makeup wipes calling my name.
The skincare empties I've collected are:
- Garnier - SkinActive Micellar oil-infused cleansing water - £2.99 - Repurchase? No
- Simple - Water Boost Micellar Cleansing Water - £6.99 - Repurchase? No
- Fourth Ray - AM to PM Gel Cleanser - $12 - Repurchase? Yes
- Nip + Fab - Glycolic Fix Daily Cleansing Pads - £9.07 - Repurchase? No
- Suki - Exfoliate Foaming Cleanser - £8.80 - Repurchase? No
- BareMinerals - Skinlongevity Vital Power Infusion - £48 - Repurchase? Yes
I won't go through every product but i will pick two out and give you my thoughts in more depth.
1. Garnier Micellar Water - Did this product work? Yes. Did it do well at removing my makeup? Yes. Was it suited to my skin type? No. This is an oil-infused product and therefore adding oil to my already combination skin didn't help. It did work well however i could only really use this at night after a proper cleanse. If i used this in the morning my skin would become shiny and oily during the day and that's not fun.
2. BareMinerals Serum - I got this baby in my GlossyBox advent calendar and it worked like a dream. I love a good serum and this is by far a good one to add to the list. It made my skin feel amazing! This little bottle didn't last long so i think a purchase is in order.
Makeup
I haven't used up much makeup since my last empties post so this won't be long. I don't know why as i feel i have used more makeup recently but i'm not complaining.
- Revolution - Conceal and Define Concealer - £4 - Repurchase? Yes
- Maybelline - Instant Age Rewind - £6.58 - Repurchase? No
- This Works - In Transit Camera Close Up - £21 - Repurchase? No
- Colourpop - Brow Boss - $5 - Repurchase? No
1. Revolution Concealer - This product is fab. I won't bore you with loads of details because i know every blogger and youtuber has raved about this product, but all i want to say is you should try this. I do think i ran out of this very quickly but that'r probably because i used it so much.
2. Coloupop Pencil - I quite liked this product but it ran out so quickly which means i would have to constantly repurchase it. Coloupop can be difficult to get in the UK due to shipping costs so i would probably find something similar which i can get more easily.
Thanks for reading this empties post.
Do you enjoy these?

What am I wearing this month?...
It's the first makeup rotation post of the year! I've decided i wont be doing this post every month however i will do one every now and then. I've decided to do this so that you don't get board and because some products might be repeated in the posts therefore it keeps the content fresh. I also apologise for the terrible lighting in these pictures but we're in the middle of winter so studio lights will have to do!
Base Products
For my base this month i'm using products I've tried before except for one new addition i bought whilst shopping in Manchester (Not smart on the Saturday before Christmas).
- Bare Minerals - Complexion Kit
- Beauty Kitchen - Daily Primer
- L'Oreal - True Match Concealer
- Luna by Luna - Setting Powder
- Maybelline - Fit Me Powder
- Rimmel - Insta Fix Setting Spray (Review)
- Nars - Natural Radiant Foundation (NEW)
I'm hoping to finish off the Bare Minerals kit pretty soon as the highlighter is all used up and the bronzer is holding on by it's last legs. The foundation and powder however still have a while to go. I do really like the set but it takes up so much space and it's quite old...
I am not really a fan of the Beauty Kitchen primer as a makeup primer as it makes my face look purple/blue and i think that it is more of a sunscreen than a primer.
I really like the concealer, powders and setting spray therefore i am looking forward to using them this month.
Now, i am super excited to try out my new Nars foundation! The woman at the counter matched my shade and i think it looks beautiful on the skin however i do need to try it out a little longer before i can give my final verdict. Would you like a review?
Face Products?
What would you call these?
2 out of 3 of these products are newbies to the collection which i received in my Glossybox advent calendar.
- Huda Beauty - Winter Highlight Pallet
- Pixi - Rose Blush
- Sleek - Contour and Highlight Pallet
I have tried and tested the sleek pallet before and it is one i love! I already know i will love the highlighters and blush! Although the shades of the highlight pallet are a little out there i think i will still get my use, i mean I've used every shade at least once already.
Eye/Eyebrow Products
Again 2 of these i got in my advent calendar and the other 2 i treated myself to due to the free shipping.
- MUA - Cosmic Vixen Pallet
- MDMFlow - Greater Than Mascara
- Coloupop - Twitterpated Super Shock Shadow
- Colourpop - Brow Boss Pencil
Now, both Colourpop products are amazing, as Colourpop always is. However my first impressions on the mascara isn't great. It doesn't do much for my small lashes and doesn't give me the volume i need, i think ill pass this to my mum after the month is over because i'm not a fan. I haven't tried the pallet yet but the colours look fun to play with!
I forgot to snap my lippies for the month, but here's a list:
- Maybelline - Smokey Rose
- Nars - Velvet Lip Glide in the shade Immoral
- Cougar - Lip gloss in Mulberry
- Accessorise - Diamond Lip Gloss
That is everything... I think!
Thanks so much for reading!
What are you using right now?

Good morning/afternoon/evening... I've been stashing away my empty products to share my views to you lovely people.
The struggle is real... i really want to paint my walls white as i'm having to fake white walls with white paper and its so much effort!
I've collected 12 products as i didn't want to make the post too long or short (and i ran out if space to store them)
What I Loved! (Will repurchase)
- Glamglow - Volcasmic matte glow moisturiser. I adored this moisturiser. it felt amazing on the skin and made it so smooth. Now the best feature of this product is the scent...O.M.G... It smells like sherbet and it's just delicious!
- Soap and Glory - Sugar crush body scrub. Again this is another product that smelt amazing! It reminds me of summer and is perfect to use before shaving or tanning.
- Colourpop - No filter concealer. For the great price, this concealer does not disappoint! It has medium coverage and hides blemishes. I loved this concealer to use under the eyes to help hide my dark circles.
What i liked (But wouldn't repurchase)
- L'oreal - Smooth sugars nourish scrub. This was a very nice scrub and felt gentle on the skin. It just didn't WOW me unfortunately. It was nice to use.
- Dermalogica - Daily microfoliant. This product was quite interesting and i enjoyed using it. it didn't seem to make much difference the skin however.
- Lacura - Calming toner. I actually picked this up at aldi as a last resort to toner as i had ran out and didn't fancy making a trip to town to pick up some more. I actually quite enjoyed this toner and i might possibly purchase again if i run out and need a toner quickly. It was super affordable too.
- Neal and Wolf - Flexible styling spray. This hairspray lasted me forever! it was a great hairspray however the product wasn't dispensed well and i had to keep shaking it in order for the product to spray out.
- The Body Shop - Shea butter scrub. This product made my skin feel great after using it. I found it to become quite messy and i felt the grains were to fine to actually be scrubbing my skin.
What I didn't enjoy
- The Organic Pharmacy - Antioxidant lip balm x2. I found this product to be very runny and they just didn't do much for my lips and sometimes made them worse.
- Caudalie - Micellar cleansing water. I hated the scent of this micellar water. The product its self was okay but ii personally didn't like the scent.
- AVEDA - Thickening tonic. I didn't seem much difference when using this product and therefore i don't see the point in repurchasing.
That's all for today. I hope you found this post helpful!

Yasss... I am so excited to share this review on the Rimmel Insta Fix setting spray. This is actually the 2nd setting spray I've ever owned... I know... I know. I don't know how I managed to cope, especially in the heat we've been having. They're so refreshing and also a life saver!
Now Rimmel claim that this product:
- Locks makeup in place for up to 8 hours
- Prevent colour from smudging or setting into fine lines
- Prolong the wear of makeup in one application
I can't promise that the makeup is locked in for 8 hours however it definitely does make your makeup stay on longer than usual. The mist is very fine and easy to apply without flinching and getting your mascara EVERYWHERE! You get double the amount of product (100ml) compared to my Barry M setting spray which is super helpful as you won't have to repurchase as much. Even though the mist is fine i would still recommend letting your mascara dry before applying as i is very wet and can sometimes make your mascara end up under your eyes.
This lovely setting spray retails for £6.99 which in my opinion is super affordable for the amount of product you get. You can purchase this beauty here.
I hope you found this review helpful! Be sure to follow me on Bloglovin to keep up to date with my posts!

Perfume: It adds the perfect finishing touch to your day/night ahead. For us females, we look for a perfume that gives us that feminine, clean and sometimes a little flirty scent and feeling. If you're trying to impress or simply just want to feel good, a perfume can help soo much! I never used to wear perfume simply because i just forgot, but now i keep one bottle aside my makeup so i won't forget to spritz it on before leaving the house; most have beautiful packaging so they look great on display as well!
I recently received this beauty sent from Bzzagent to review. The lovely perfume i was sent was Amazing Grace from Philosophy. I would first like to bring attention to the simple yet effective packaging! The minimalist style gives you the impression of innocence and i think this reflects the scent superbly. The scent is a mix of feminine and musky. It has notes of beautiful bergamot and marvellous muguet blossoms. I feel this scent could be used both day and night so you can get a good use out of this bestseller!
Like the name says, it's an 'Amazing' fragrance and the freshness is perfect for anyone and everyone!
If you're interested in purchasing this fragrance you can click here to take you to the product on Feel Unique. The beauty retails for £34 for 60ml which i think is super affordable compared to most over fragrances.
That's all for today.
Please share love by leaving a comment or even sharing with a friend.

Only gone and forgot i had these photos for this review. I actually forgot to write this post up for a while but lucky for you i found the photos. Enjoy my review on the Rimmel Match Perfection foundation.
If you guys weren't already aware i am part of a community called Buzzagent where you can sign up and occasionally get sent an item for you to review. I was fortunate enough to receive this product for them to review on their site however i thought i would also share my thoughts on here for you guys.
The shade i requested was slightly too light for me so i am most likely to save this foundation for autumn/winter when i am not self-tanned.
I would say this foundation is a medium coverage but feels super light on this skin. The product lasts well on the skin and keeps the face looking flawless.
Overall if you are looking for a nice, affordable drugstore foundation i would recommend this for you to try.
I won't drag this post on any longer as i find some blog posts that are super long tend to loose my interest quicker.
I would love to know what length of blog posts you prefer. Do you enjoy the longer or shorter posts?
I would really appreciate your feedback for my future posts.
Thanks for reading!

Prom! I have my prom next Thursday and i am super excited! I actually decided to do my own makeup for prom therefore i bought some news products to use on my makeup look. I thought i would share a lil makeup haul with you so you can see some of the products i will be using. I am thinking about doing a photo diary from the night so keep an eye out for that.
For my base makeup i wanted to try the Maybelline Superstay Full Coverage Foundation and the Revolution Conceal and Define Concealer. I wanted makeup that was great coverage and quality and didn't break the bank. After these two products were Jeffree Star approved i knew i needed them in my life. I regret buying such a light shade as now i can't fake tan but oh well! Both of these products are amazing and if you would like a more in depth review let me know.
For eye shadow i purchased the Douce Palette by Juvia's Place. I seen Nikki Tutorials rave about this brand and i wanted a pink eye look for my prom and this palette spoke to me. The pigment is insane; as you can see from the swatches. My favourite shade has to be the beautiful pink shimmer! The texture is creamy and so satisfying to touch when swatching.
Finally (and the product i am most excited about) is the Unicorn Lashes in Majestic AF. Can we all take a second to admire these beauties? This is what will bring my look together and really make it pop. They feel amazing and are definitely the best pair of lashes i have ever owned. I can't wait to put these babies on.
I hope you enjoyed this haul. If you would like a tutorial on the look i create (I will be posting on my Instagram) then please let me know as this is something i would love to do.
Check out my Facebook page here!
Will you/did you go to prom?
Hey! How are you guys? As you can probably see i have revamped my website...AGAIN! I just wasn't a fan and after hours...and I mean HOURS of searching for a theme i was happy with i finally found this one. I added my own little touches and deleted what i didn't like, i think i'm finally happy with how it looks. What do you think? Is there any advice you can give me? Let me know!
Without any further rambling i present to you my (Very Late) May favourites!
Makeup
Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow : While writing the name of this product i did actually call it Brow wiz... If you can't tell i really loved this product and i am desperate to purchase more brow products from Anastasia Beverly Hills ; i also just woke up from a nap. The product is super creamy and even my mum became obsessed (stealing it every time i left my makeup unattended) I had to buy her one for herself. It looks amazing and i had never used a pomade before and i can tell you it is super easy to use!
Rimmel Insta Fix & Matte : I purchased this beauty at Boots on a whim. If you love a flawless matte look and a powder that feels smooth on the skin this is it! I honestly look forward to applying this powder to my face to set it. I actually hit pan pretty quickly though but this occurred after i put this in the post. I don't think this is awful and it doesn't outweigh how great the product actually is i just think you would need to repurchase frequently if you use this everyday but hey, it's affordable to that isn't too much of a problem.
Barry M Mist & Fix Setting Spray (Matte): This is actually my first ever setting spray... I KNOW GURL, i know. I don't know where this has been all my life but i always thought they didn't do much. Boy was i wrong. My makeup stays on sooo much better and longer. I have actually been getting into dewy makeup recently therefore i think i will purchase the dewy version of this setting spray as it is affordable.
Skincare/Body Care
Nivea Sooth & Protect Lip Balm : This little guy might look average and no big deal BUT let me tell you how AMAZING this lip balm is. My lips are the most annoying thing ever and they always crack in the left corner and it hurts so much. I could literally yawn in the morning and they rip, only in that corner. This lip balm saves my life. I lather it on and it instantly relives them and the healing process speeds up so much quicker. I know many people who rave about the Nivea lip balms and i can confirm i am now one of those people.
Skin Chemist Rose Quartz Lip Plump : Does this product plump my lips? A little bit. Does this product make them feel fresh and beautiful? YES. I've put this product in here because i'm addicted. Once I've applied a little bit i cant stop. I love the peppermint on my lips and i cant even describe the sensation, It isn't tingly it's something else.
Zoella Hungry Hands Hand Cream : I usually save this hand cream for the winter as it is a gingerbread scent however every month i change up my makeup , skin and body care. I let my little brother pick out my body care for the month of may and he chose this hand cream. You either love or hate this scent and i am a lover. The hand cream is not thick and is quite thin.I love this and i am a huge fan of Zoe!
That was my May favourites. I went into a little bit more detail in this post. What did you think? Do you prefer the short snappy posts or ones like this?
I also set up a new Instagram @Caitpaigexo strictly for my blog. I haven't posted yet but i would love for you go go follow.
Ahola! I seriously need a sit down session where I plan out my blog post as I've been all over the show with this blog. I will say though that i have been pretty busy. I had a dance competition last Monday (hence no upload) and then i had my actual dance exam as well. So basically dance consumed me, but don't i'm back now!
Any way, today's post is a very late Look Fantastic beauty box and your probably going to get another one for May really soon.
Whats In the Box?
My Thoughts...
I won't lie... I don't mind this box. The box smelt AMAZING because of the soap. I was happy to finally receive a decent make up product as we never seem to get much so the mascara was something to look forward too. I was over the moon with the Glamglow mask and the cleansing balm as this is something I've been wanting to try. The Nuxe product was nothing special and the cleansing pads are a product I've had my eye on.
Over all i would give the box a 4/5 stars and i feel i will get good use of the products. Next months theme is 'Beauty Bazaar' so maybe we will get some more make up?
Thanks for reading! What was your favourite product in this months box?

By now, especially if you read beauty blogs, you must have heard about the brand The Ordinary. They are well known for their affordable, yet really good quality products. The products are affordable due to the simplistic packaging, however i quite like the simple look.
I recently earned a gift card from Toluna for The House Of Fraser. I had never shopped here before and i was pleasantly surprised to find that they stocked The Ordinary and i finally gave in and decided to try out something from the brand. I chose the serum foundation as it sounded pretty interesting and the word 'serum' made me think it would be good for the skin.
I will advise you to choose a shade lighter than you think you are if choosing a shade online as i soon realised the shade i chose is too dark for my skin colour. I will however be able to use this shade when i am tanned.
The foundation applied nicely and gave a medium coverage. The foundation does oxidise and the bottle can get quite dirty quickly.
The product felt lightweight on the skin and comfortable to wear.
As you can see above the coverage is quite good and makes the skin look smoothed and flawless compared to the hand without any product on.
The foundation retails for £6 which is an extremely good price and i am very happy with the foundation.
Have you tried any products from The Ordinary Before?
