Yasss... I am so excited to share this review on the Rimmel Insta Fix setting spray. This is actually the 2nd setting spray I've ever owned... I know... I know. I don't know how I managed to cope, especially in the heat we've been having. They're so refreshing and also a life saver!
Now Rimmel claim that this product:
- Locks makeup in place for up to 8 hours
- Prevent colour from smudging or setting into fine lines
- Prolong the wear of makeup in one application
I can't promise that the makeup is locked in for 8 hours however it definitely does make your makeup stay on longer than usual. The mist is very fine and easy to apply without flinching and getting your mascara EVERYWHERE! You get double the amount of product (100ml) compared to my Barry M setting spray which is super helpful as you won't have to repurchase as much. Even though the mist is fine i would still recommend letting your mascara dry before applying as i is very wet and can sometimes make your mascara end up under your eyes.
This lovely setting spray retails for £6.99 which in my opinion is super affordable for the amount of product you get. You can purchase this beauty here.
I hope you found this review helpful! Be sure to follow me on Bloglovin to keep up to date with my posts!
What are your go to setting sprays?

Prom! I have my prom next Thursday and i am super excited! I actually decided to do my own makeup for prom therefore i bought some news products to use on my makeup look. I thought i would share a lil makeup haul with you so you can see some of the products i will be using. I am thinking about doing a photo diary from the night so keep an eye out for that.
For my base makeup i wanted to try the Maybelline Superstay Full Coverage Foundation and the Revolution Conceal and Define Concealer. I wanted makeup that was great coverage and quality and didn't break the bank. After these two products were Jeffree Star approved i knew i needed them in my life. I regret buying such a light shade as now i can't fake tan but oh well! Both of these products are amazing and if you would like a more in depth review let me know.
For eye shadow i purchased the Douce Palette by Juvia's Place. I seen Nikki Tutorials rave about this brand and i wanted a pink eye look for my prom and this palette spoke to me. The pigment is insane; as you can see from the swatches. My favourite shade has to be the beautiful pink shimmer! The texture is creamy and so satisfying to touch when swatching.
Finally (and the product i am most excited about) is the Unicorn Lashes in Majestic AF. Can we all take a second to admire these beauties? This is what will bring my look together and really make it pop. They feel amazing and are definitely the best pair of lashes i have ever owned. I can't wait to put these babies on.
I hope you enjoyed this haul. If you would like a tutorial on the look i create (I will be posting on my Instagram) then please let me know as this is something i would love to do.

Will you/did you go to prom?
By now, especially if you read beauty blogs, you must have heard about the brand The Ordinary. They are well known for their affordable, yet really good quality products. The products are affordable due to the simplistic packaging, however i quite like the simple look.
I recently earned a gift card from Toluna for The House Of Fraser. I had never shopped here before and i was pleasantly surprised to find that they stocked The Ordinary and i finally gave in and decided to try out something from the brand. I chose the serum foundation as it sounded pretty interesting and the word 'serum' made me think it would be good for the skin.
I will advise you to choose a shade lighter than you think you are if choosing a shade online as i soon realised the shade i chose is too dark for my skin colour. I will however be able to use this shade when i am tanned.
The foundation applied nicely and gave a medium coverage. The foundation does oxidise and the bottle can get quite dirty quickly.
The product felt lightweight on the skin and comfortable to wear.
As you can see above the coverage is quite good and makes the skin look smoothed and flawless compared to the hand without any product on.
The foundation retails for £6 which is an extremely good price and i am very happy with the foundation.
Have you tried any products from The Ordinary Before?

As I am writing this blog post I am currently watching The Great British Bake Off which I have currently started watching and I am LOVING! Anyway.... Back to the topic of this post, FREEBIES!
Since August this year I discovered the world of free samples and sometimes even full sized products. Who doesn't love anything that's free? I sure know I do! Although October hasn't been my most impressive month I thought I would still create a blog post as all my other attempted freebies posts I've either not posted in time or wasn't happy with the photo's. I've finally stopped being lazy and got the post done.
Random Finds on Freebie Sites.
I can't exactly remember the sites each products came from but if you would like a separate post on my top freebie sites please let me know in the comments.
I received a lovely sample of Grain Free Duck Dog Biscuits from The Laughing Dog. With this I also received 2 25% off codes , one for me and one for a friend. Since you guys are my friends you can use the code DogHappy17 for your first order.
Next I received 3 1 ml sachets of Advanced Genifique Serum from Lancome. This was perfect as I had just ran out of my current serum.
Another nice sample I received was from Molton Brown. I got a generous 30 ml bottle of their new Russian Leather shower gel and 6 fun scented temporary tattoos, which i shall be saving for summer or for some fall Instagram photos (@Caitpaige_xo).
For Word Thank You Day Cadbury were giving out mini boxes of Roses chocolate on Twitter (@Caitpaigexo). I thought that was super cute, and of course I ate them right away... I couldn't resist.
A nice surprise from The Guardian was this cardboard Google VR headset.
Finally from this section I received some female products from Bodyform which is always handy.
SoPost
SoPost is one of my favorite ways to receive freebies as you usually get really good sized samples and even sometimes you can get full sized! However you do have to be quick to apply especially for full sized products.
I was actually extremely lucky to receive a extra big micellar water from Garnier however unfortunately it leaked in the post, at least i still have half the bottle, it's free so you cant complain!
Next from SoPost I got a 30 ml hand and nail cream from Caudalie which I cant wait to use this as it included avocado and shea butters.
Finally from SoPost I got two gorgeous smelling 2 ml Calvin Klein samples of Obsessed for Women and Men.
Campaigns and Trials
I got my first ever campaigns and trial this month which is sooo exciting!
I was given the chance to trial two weeks worth of Trimollient spray to help with dry skin! I got this opportunity from Talk Health.
My other amazing campaign was through Bzzagent. This was my first campaign with them and it was a really good one! I got to test and review a full size Rimmel Matte Black Nail Polish. I am planning on doing another review on this blog very soon, so keep your eyes peeled!
Free Gift cards/ Voucher Purchases.
Recently I found this amazing website called Swagbucks where you participate in surveys and you collected points which you save up to redeem gift cards. In my first month I was able to collect enough to redeem a £5 Amazon gift card and a £10 Amazon gift card! It is honestly amazing! With my gift cards I bought a Technic highlighter and a Technic brow gel as well as a Nip and Fab cleanser ( Review coming soon). Overall i 100% recommend Swagbucks however you do need to have the time to fill out the surveys.
Thank you so much for reading! If you enjoyed don't forget to follow the blog as well as my social media! Do you freebie hunt?
