I've Left these posts a little late but oh well. I've decided to create a series of blog posts dedicated to my favourite things from 2019! I'm planning on creating 3 posts in total : Skincare, Makeup and Lifestyle. As you can see by the title this is indeed my favourite skincare products from 2019!
I have managed to condense this post down to only 5 products! So these are the best of the best. These are all products that i have used many times throughout 2019 and the products that have literally saved my skin! So if you want to find some amazing skincare products keep reading!
I assume you would have heard about this product before as everybody uses it but just in case you haven't, please do! This is the best affordable micellar water ever! It works like a dream and is easy to use. It's gentle on my skin and you can basically find it sold everywhere! So what's your excuse not to try it? My face feels super cleansed and refreshed after using this product.
This product saved my skin! For some random reason last year I developed dry skin around the corners of my mouth and more recently under my eyes. I have no clue why this happened but it did. I tried lots of things to try and get rid of it and nothing worked, until i found this cream. I got a big bottle and I apply it to the affected areas morning and night and it honestly worked a dream! This was by far the best purchase of 2019.
The main reason i am including this product is because how tasty it is! Do i recommend eating this no? But do i occasionally eat a tiny bit? Yes. Its a lovely consistency, works how you would expect and smells and tastes unreal. I don't use this every day but i do use it when needed as not only did i get dry skin it also gave me dry lips so this works nicely to help that situation. Plus who doesn't love Lush?
Keeping on the topic of lips. I got sent this product in a Tryit Box and i got some good use out of it. This is the most soothing lip product I've tried and adds so much moisture to my dry lips!
Last but not least is this face mask. I had heard great things about it and therefore had to try it. This is 'lush' (see what i did there?). It really helped clear my skin and leave it feeling renewed. I use this on my proper pamper days. It doesn't irritate my sensitive skin and is a pleasure to use!
That is all for my 2019 skincare faves!
I hope you found some new products to add to your collection.
What was your favourite skincare product from 2019?

Honestly... I have no clue what happened to the quality of the photo above. I did use a Instasize to edit these pictures, which i haven't done before, maybe its that?
I was recently sent a few products from the brand Your Good Skin for a 28 day challenge using their skin concentrate. I've decided to try out the other products and now i want to give you a full review and let you know whether you should go out and try it.
I was sent the Skin Concentrate, Rapid Rescue Treatment,Calming Cleanser and Day Cream.
This Serum had a lot of claims. It promised to transform my skin in 28 days. The first time i used it... BAM spot. Now I cant say that it was the serum that did this but i did find quite a coincidence. I didn't feel that it did much however after using it again but with all the other products i will say it was much better. The packaging was very good. It came with a little box which was magnetic, i felt this was really nice. The serum was quite thin and therefore was great for in the morning and night.
Loving the use of alliteration in that name... okay ill stop letting my English GCSE work into my blog. The cleanser is blemish clearing which is what i need right now! My skin felt nice and fresh after using, which is the best feeling ever. My make up was removed well in my opinion and i didn't see any after cleansing. It truly is creamy which i felt was really nice and relaxing to apply.
I didn't really know how to feel about this, other than I THINK it works? The product was gel, which surprised me as i thought it would be a cream. My eyes did start to sting a bit after i applied to a blemish on my nose however this did go away quite quickly. The gel did make it very refreshing which was nice. My skin did become a little stiff where i applied but that didn't bother me. I applied to a small blemish and in the morning it was gone however i think this may have just gone naturally.
I am not too sure how i feel about this cream. I think that it's great that it has SPF as that is a great quality for a day cream. Unfortunately, the cream made my skin a little red which i don't think anybody wants in the morning when they're going to school/work. I will admit that the cream was hydrating, which is what i expect from a moisturiser. My skin was very smooth and nice to touch.
Over all my skin felt amazing after using the products together. My skin felt clean and smooth and i would recommend using the products together for the best results.
Thanks for reading!

Hey! Today i am bring a post based around my empties. Now i usually rotate my make up and skincare each month , so it takes time for a product to completely run out. I've manage to create a collection of a few items and i'm going to tell you which i loved, liked and disliked.
What I Loved!
I really need to try out more products as everything i have tried from this brand i have loved! This moisturiser is super hydrating and satisfying to apply. It made my skin feel amazing and i looked forward to applying this product every morning!
Caudalie - SOS Serum
Again I absolutely fell in love with this product and after i use my last little travel size i will defiantly be purchasing a full size as this serum is a dream.
Collection - Lasting Perfection Concealer
I'm constantly repurchasing this concealer. It is really affordable and is great for an everyday concealer. I would say that this is a medium coverage and is great for under the eyes.
MAC - Pro Long-wear Concealer
If you're looking for a more full coverage concealer than this one is a great choice. I will say i had to break open my jar as there was still lots of product left at the bottom but it didn't squirt out through the pump. I also wish it was more affordable.
What I Liked!
This is quite a good micellar water and does actually feel like it is cleansing my skin unlike other ones i have tried. The product did run out quite quickly though as a lot of product does come out at once, therefore i just wish the packaging was more efficient.
Just your average foundation. I wouldn't say it lasts 8 hours never mind 24. The coverage is light to medium where i would prefer a full coverage. Nothing special.
This is a nice mascara however i think because it is the waterproof version it isn't as impressive. I will be looking to try out the regular version as I've heard some great things!
Skinfix - Foaming Oil Cleanser
This cleanser was good! I felt like it really did cleanse my skin. I would but this in the 'love' section however i'm just not jumping at the opportunity to repurchase.
OOlution - Eye Love
I quite liked this eye cream. I think it did a great job. It really woke me up in the morning , I'd just like to see some more results.
What I Disliked...
Garnier - Micellar Water Sensitive Skin
I didn't mind the product to apply and i did use it all. I just felt that the product didn't cleanse much at all, which was quite a disappointment. I also received my product in the post, only to find it half empty as the packaging had snapped and leaked, They need to make their packaging more sturdy.
Thanks for reading!
Have you liked my new Facebook page? I post on there when i post!
What products should i try out?

First Of All... Let me apologise for the quality of these photos. I took them last minute in my bedroom at night, so you can already gather that i had to use flash and therefore these images aren't going to look amazing. Any ways this months box was an amazing improvement and it got me very excited! The March box was based upon beauty empowered and how we we feel from the inside out.
What was in the box?
I was actually really excited to see this as i had recently seen the youtuber Mark Ferris use a foot mask and i found it really interesting!
This is a luxurious moisturiser! The full size is worth £85! The packaging is simple yet beautiful. I was very happy to receive this.
I wasn't super amazed by this product. The full size is £35. This is probably the product i liked the least as it just didn't excite me.
Now is this brand over pried? Yes. Do I think it's worth the price? No. But i do think this product is quite good and smells amazing!
5. StyLondon - Oval Face Brush £5
I can't seem to find this anywhere but Ebay. The bush is quite scratchy i will say however it does the job. What much can i say?
6. Doucce - Freematic Eye Shadow Duo ( Kate & Tenly)
Again I can't seem to find these anywhere. The shades are very similar and are clearly meant for a magnetic palette. The shadows are quite pigmented and lovely neutral shades.
Top- Kate, Bottom- Tenly
Over all, i'm happy that they have included some make up and the value of this box is great! I am very happy with this months box!
What was your favourite product?

As I am writing this blog post I am currently watching The Great British Bake Off which I have currently started watching and I am LOVING! Anyway.... Back to the topic of this post, FREEBIES!
Since August this year I discovered the world of free samples and sometimes even full sized products. Who doesn't love anything that's free? I sure know I do! Although October hasn't been my most impressive month I thought I would still create a blog post as all my other attempted freebies posts I've either not posted in time or wasn't happy with the photo's. I've finally stopped being lazy and got the post done.
Random Finds on Freebie Sites.
I can't exactly remember the sites each products came from but if you would like a separate post on my top freebie sites please let me know in the comments.
I received a lovely sample of Grain Free Duck Dog Biscuits from The Laughing Dog. With this I also received 2 25% off codes , one for me and one for a friend. Since you guys are my friends you can use the code DogHappy17 for your first order.
Next I received 3 1 ml sachets of Advanced Genifique Serum from Lancome. This was perfect as I had just ran out of my current serum.
Another nice sample I received was from Molton Brown. I got a generous 30 ml bottle of their new Russian Leather shower gel and 6 fun scented temporary tattoos, which i shall be saving for summer or for some fall Instagram photos (@Caitpaige_xo).
For Word Thank You Day Cadbury were giving out mini boxes of Roses chocolate on Twitter (@Caitpaigexo). I thought that was super cute, and of course I ate them right away... I couldn't resist.
A nice surprise from The Guardian was this cardboard Google VR headset.
Finally from this section I received some female products from Bodyform which is always handy.
SoPost
SoPost is one of my favorite ways to receive freebies as you usually get really good sized samples and even sometimes you can get full sized! However you do have to be quick to apply especially for full sized products.
I was actually extremely lucky to receive a extra big micellar water from Garnier however unfortunately it leaked in the post, at least i still have half the bottle, it's free so you cant complain!
Next from SoPost I got a 30 ml hand and nail cream from Caudalie which I cant wait to use this as it included avocado and shea butters.
Finally from SoPost I got two gorgeous smelling 2 ml Calvin Klein samples of Obsessed for Women and Men.
Campaigns and Trials
I got my first ever campaigns and trial this month which is sooo exciting!
I was given the chance to trial two weeks worth of Trimollient spray to help with dry skin! I got this opportunity from Talk Health.
My other amazing campaign was through Bzzagent. This was my first campaign with them and it was a really good one! I got to test and review a full size Rimmel Matte Black Nail Polish. I am planning on doing another review on this blog very soon, so keep your eyes peeled!
Free Gift cards/ Voucher Purchases.
Recently I found this amazing website called Swagbucks where you participate in surveys and you collected points which you save up to redeem gift cards. In my first month I was able to collect enough to redeem a £5 Amazon gift card and a £10 Amazon gift card! It is honestly amazing! With my gift cards I bought a Technic highlighter and a Technic brow gel as well as a Nip and Fab cleanser ( Review coming soon). Overall i 100% recommend Swagbucks however you do need to have the time to fill out the surveys.
Thank you so much for reading! If you enjoyed don't forget to follow the blog as well as my social media! Do you freebie hunt?

Hey, I'm here with another pamper themed post! Today's post is going to be my pamper routine. I will be showing you what products I use to pamper and what I do to pamper my self every now and again.
I try to pamper my self at least once a month before a big day or a busy day. Sometimes , if I have nothing on that month I will pamper my self if I am stressed or down.
I think it is really important to treat yourself as it will help put you in a better mood and help you to connect with your self.
Anyway let's get onto the routine!

First things first is that I like to begin by running a bath. I feel that a bath is a must have for an at home pamper session as it will help you wind down as well as making you feel fresh and clean.
I like to add a bath bomb to my bath when pampering so today I used a coconut scented bath bomb which helped make my skin feel super moisturised. When pampering I like to make a nice cold drink for when I am in the bath as it is super important to feel hydrated. In the bath I like to start by washing my hair with shampoo and conditioner, I leave the conditioner on for about 5-10 minutes while I catch up on YouTube videos. I then will exfoliate with my Body Shop body scrub and then I will clean and shave.
When I get out of the bath and I am dried I change into some pyjamas. I think fluffy socks are so cute and comfy so they're a must have for me! I then moisturise with my dove moisturising cream which I showed in my previous post. The next step I HATE doing but...I know its important and I will regret in the morning if I don't do it. That step is drying my hair. This step to me is such a chore as my super thick hair takes AGES to dry but if I don't dry it my hair will be super frizzy and horrible the next day. Luckily I found some amazing coconut hair oil in Bodycare and it helps make my hair feel and look smooth and healthy as well as making my hair dry faster.

Now I think it's the perfect time to watch whatever TV show am watching at the moment, in this case it was The Originals. While I watch my show I like to paint my nails as I hardly ever have the time to do this so I like to take this time to do this. Plus of your anything like me I am super impatient when it comes to waiting for my nails dry and end up smudging them and ruining them watching a show really helps me to stop messing with my nails and ruining them. The colour I used was 'Iced Frappe' by Ciate. I also take this time to apply a face mask as again I hardly do this unless I do this while pampering.
I also have my candles lit while I do all this pampering as it helps set a relaxed mood and plus they smell amazing!
Finally I finish off with a book or music. I recently got the Pointless Book 3 as they are really fun as well as being a fan of Alfie Deyes. I feel like finishing with a book is really great as it gets you away from technology and puts you n the perfect position to go straight to sleep if you planned on ding so.
That's all for today's post guys. I hope you found this helpful and can add any of these steps to our own routine. If I have missed any steps that you guys do leave them in the comments so I can add them to my routine. If you enjoyed this post don't forget t check out my other posts and follow this blog. Have an amazing day and I'll speak to you in my next post!
